“SERVICE COMPANY “GORYZONTY” LCC has successfully applied the innovative Logging While Drilling (LWD) technology with the DartFusion induction logging tool to accurately determine productive formations during well drilling. Currently, LWD has already been used at three sites in Ukraine.

The implementation of LWD technology is an important step towards increasing the economic efficiency of the oil and gas industry. Obtaining accurate data in real time allows to optimize the drilling process, reduce the cost of exploration and development of fields, and also increase hydrocarbon production, which, in turn, contributes to strengthening Ukraine's energy security!

“The DartFusion tool provides a new level of accuracy in identifying hydrocarbon deposits, thanks to its innovative engineering solutions. Thanks to the ability to make measurements in real time, we receive data on the geological section already during drilling. This significantly increases the efficiency of exploration and allows us to more accurately assess the prospects for field development,” said Yaroslav Porada, Director of “SERVICE COMPANY “GORYZONTY” LCC.

The success of this project was the result of close cooperation between engineers of SC “GORYZONTY” and specialists from Oliden Technology. Thanks to joint efforts, we managed not only to implement the technology but also to achieve the most accurate results during logging operations. A carefully planned and executed logging flight allowed us to obtain induction and gamma ray log measurements, which were used to determine the perforation intervals to ensure efficient gas production.
